October: the broadcast of the series has started

Fan-club www.b5.ru was founded a couple of months later; all fanfiction, essays, and parodies have been archived there since then.

1997

After having broadcast nearly 3 seasons, the TV-company "TV6" decided to stop the translation due to the alleged absence of audience interest.
The fen organized mass campaigns (the first such action in Russia), wrote letters and e-mails, and even participated in TV-programs dedicated to the crisis. As a result, the whole show was repeated after a year of struggle – from the beginning till the final season.

1998

The fan-club site organized various challenges; a joint translation of "ADDM" was undertaken.

2003

First convention in Moscow.

2003-2005

The fan-club site is still active; but the general interest is in decline; fanfics are rather rare, mostly fanart is produced.
